Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Endoscopy Technician to join our medical team. As an Endoscopy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting with endoscopic procedures and ensuring the smooth operation of the endoscopy unit. Your attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure will contribute to the overall success of our medical facility.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up endoscopy equipment and instruments for procedures
- Assist physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide appropriate documentation
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment in the endoscopy unit
- Handle specimens collected during procedures and ensure proper labeling and storage
- Perform routine maintenance on endoscopy equipment and report any malfunctions or issues
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient patient care

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Endoscopy Technician program preferred
- Previous experience working as an Endoscopy Technician is a plus
- Knowledge of endoscopic procedures, equipment, and instruments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and remain calm during emergencies
- Basic computer skills for documentation purposes
